what   we   believe

Immanuel is part of the United Methodist denomination and has been part of the community for many years. We are a church of innovation, but also of tradition. We seek to be generous in spirit, fully devoted to Jesus Christ, educated in the Word of God and wholly committed to God. We strive to be a vital part of the community of Jefferson in pursuit of social holiness and welcoming to all. Essentially, Immanuel is a place for all people to come home as well as to go out into the world to build the Kingdom of God.

We believe the goal of the Christian life is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. We value passionate worship, relevant preaching, small groups to hold Christians accountable to one another, and serving those who are in need.

where  faith  and  family  meet.

our  vision.

When the church was asked about what made Immanuel UMC special, the same answer emerges over and over: it's like being part of a family. Relationships are an important part of community. Support, connection, accountability, friendship - Immanuel is a faith-filled community and you are welcome here!
As a church community that is focused on meeting people where they are to share the love of Jesus Christ, through mission and outreach, out vision is simple: To be people helping people experience the love of Jesus by serving others where they live, whoever they are.
